START approx. 2 miles North of Boroughbridge on A168, at a mark approx.10 yards North of Kirby Hill roundabout and 4 yards from the clearway sign.
PROCEED NORTH on A168, via Kirby Hill T.I. to Dishforth T.I., where LEFT over dual carriageway to T.I., where RIGHT via Rainton Lane T.I. (CARE!!) down slip-road to join A168 dual carriageway (3.2 mls). Continue along A168/A19 to slip-road leading to Knayton (13.6 mls). LEFT and then RIGHT (CARE!!) at cross roads, over A19, then RIGHT (CARE!!) (14.2 mls) down slip-road to join A19 southbound carriageway.
PROCEED on A19/A168 to slip-road to Dishforth (25.02 mls). BEAR LEFT up slip-road to roundabout where take 2nd EXIT (straight across) and proceed on A168, via Kirby Hill T.I. to FINISH approx. 300 yds north of Roecliffe roundabout, at a mark 0.1 mls after the end of the crash barrier over the R.Ure (30.00 mls).
