HQ Area: Garstang

START on B5272 road at northern end of entrance to Glasson Limited near Winmarleigh and approximately 2.5 miles north, north-west of Garstang.
Proceed north along the B5272 to junction with the A588 at Cockerham (2.75 miles) where bear left along the A588 via Stakepool, Preesall (Care-Sharp left-hand bend), Stalmine and Hambleton to TURN by encircling Miller Island just short of Shard Bridge (14.27 miles).
Retrace along the A588 via Hambleton, Stalmine, Preesall (Care-Sharp Right-hand bend) and Stakepool to Cockerham (25.78 miles) where CARE-REVERSE TURN around the central reservation of the dual carriageway at the junction with the B5272 to retrace along the A588.
Continue as before via Stakepool, Preesall (Care- Sharp left-hand bend), Stalmine and Hambleton to TURN by encircling Miller Island just short of Shard Bridge (37.30 miles). Retrace along the A588 via Hambleton, Stalmine, Preesall (Care- Sharp right-hand bend) and Stakepool to Cockerham where turn right on to the B5272 (48.82 miles).
Proceed south on the B5272 to FINISH at southerly side of opening to gateway marked ‘Heysham Ring/National Grid’ which is 0.3 miles past Wallings Ice-Cream Parlour and 90 yards south of overhead power cables across the road. (50 MILES)
