HQ Area: Garstang

START on A6 Garstang by-pass approximately 300 yards north of traffic lights at a point in cycle lane in line with speed camera which is 5 yards north of lamp-post No.412 which is immediately north of bus shelter on west side of road.

Proceed north on A6 to encircle roundabout at Hampson Green (5.10 miles) and retrace on A6 to junction with B6430 (9.93 miles) where bear left through Garstang (Caution mini-RAB’s and speed humps) and continue via Catterall to rejoin A6 (13.14 miles).

Continue south on A6 (CAUTION new traffic island at Brock) to TURN by entering lay-by at lamp-post 54 on east side of road approx. 500 yards north of Broughton traffic lights (17.56 miles). Retrace north on the A6 (CAUTION new traffic island at Brock) to FINISH approx. 200 yards south of traffic lights on Garstang by-pass at water grate in roadway which is two kerbstones south of entrance to disused farm gateway and 22 yards north of lamp-post No. 399 (25 MILES).
