Roundup 6/7 October

Jack Pullor (Wheelbase) trounced all the favourites to win the Sheffrec CC hill climb on Monsal Head. Pullor clocked 1-18.9 to beat Endura professional Russell Downing by 1.7 seconds. National hill climb champion Gunnar Gronlund (RST Trigon) filled third with his 1-24.8 while Dean Downing (Rapha Condor) rode to fourth with a 1-25.9.
 
The Otley CC double header saw Tejvan Pettinger (Sri Chinmoy RT) in sparkling form taking both legs with a total time of 8-14.8. The promoting club's Sam Ward was second at a shade under 44 seconds.

Matt Clinton (Mike Vaughan Cycles) topped the results board in the Birdwell Wheelers event ahead of 2011 winner Lee Baldwin (Buxton CC) and Andy Nichols (Ciclos Uno).

In the South Peter Tadros (In Gear Quickvit Trainsharp) repeated his 2011 success to take the Sussex CA hill climb.
 
Time trial wise Tadros's clubmate Michael Hutchinson triumphed in the East Anglia VTTA `30`, a 55-59 putting him 2-37 clear of second placed Rob Pears (Bath CC) with 2012 BBAR Andrew Topham (High Wycombe CC) third at 3-21.
 
The Warrington CC Johnny Helms Memorial 20.8 miles 2-Up fell to Junior 10 and 25-mile champion Ryan Mullen (Planet X) who paced veteran Barry Charlton (Lyme CC) to a winning 43-22. George Atkins (100% ME) and Phil Rayner (Welland Valley) took second spot with 43-59. Mid Shropshire Wheelers Dave York and Denis Milnsom were best on standard witj a +16:36 (actual time 56-21).
